Dr. Kenneth Weinlander, MD
Founder | Medical Director | Board Certified Ophthalmologist | Fellowship Trained Cornea SpecialistDr. Weinlander is the founder and medical director of Milwaukee Eye Surgeons. He served on the faculty of Duke University Eye Center before moving back to his home state of Wisconsin. He is a diplomate of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, Cornea Society, Refractive Surgery Alliance, Wisconsin Academy of Ophthalmology, and Wisconsin Medical Society. Dr. Weinlander has a passion for education and research to advance the field of ophthalmic and corneal surgery. Dr. Weinlander has helped teach advanced surgical techniques around the world, including at eye centers in India and Honduras. He has also given many invited lectures and published numerous articles, including in the journal Ophthalmology. Dr. Weinlander trained at the Medical College of Wisconsin for medical school. He did an internship at Columbia University before completing his residency at Wake Forest University where he was chief resident. He then completed a cornea, refractive, and external diseases fellowship at Wake Forest University.
